Who We are
Girls on the Run is a transformational physical activity based positive youth development program for girls in 3rd-8th grade. We teach life skills through dynamic interactive lessons and running games. The program culminates with the girls being physically and emotionally prepared to completea celebratory 5k running event. The goal of the program is to unleash confidence through accomplishment while established a lifetime appreciation of health and fitness.

Our Program
We offer 10 week after-school program with bi-weekly sessions led by trained volunteer coaches that guide and mentor the girls through fun and uplifting lessons that incorporate running practices. The program concludes with a celebratory 5K event. On May 19, 2018, the spring 5K will bring more than 200 girls, along with 100+ running buddies, 40+coaches, 30 volunteers and 100+community and family members together to be inspired as girls cross the finish line.
